Louise Morales – Surrey County Council Candidate for Woking South

Louise Morales has been part of the Hoe Valley Liberal Democrat team since 2010 and is currently Mayor of Woking. She has lived in Old Woking since 1996, where she has been deeply involved in supporting the local community.

As a self-employed professional gardener, Louise understands the challenges faced by small businesses and brings a strong environmental ethos to everything she does. Louise has been instrumental in the £2.4 million renovation of the Old Woking Community Centre, which now features solar panels, air-source heat pumps, and other green upgrades to combat climate change.

She is a tireless advocate for residents, from dealing with local planning issues to ensuring that council services like bin collections are working efficiently. She also volunteers at St Peter’s Church, running a Sunday school and assisting with flower arranging.

Louise said, “I am proud of my work as a borough councillor and am keen to use my skills to improve Surrey County Council. With a focus on strategic planning, highways, and sustainability, I am committed to making Surrey a better place to live for current and future generations.”
