James Sanderson: Your strong local voice for Goldsworth East

James Sanderson grew up in Woking and has lived here most of his life. James is married to Alison and they have four children who have all attended Goldsworth Primary School. James is a qualified chartered accountant and works for a financial services company in London.

James has served as a councillor for Goldsworth East and previously as a councillor for a London Borough. He also has experience as a primary school governor, treasurer of a bereavement and homeless charity and director of a housing association. James is a member of the Lakeview Community Action Group.

Elected in May 2019, James will campaign to improve the local environment of Goldsworth Park, including parking and road safety, tackling fly tipping and improving recycling facilities. He will strive to ensure that Council plans are sustainable and financially viable and that housing tenants get a fair deal.
